How to raise Oklahoma to be a Top 10 cycling state.


Participants will hear a panel of cycling advocates on their ideas on how we can implement new programs and policies that will improve cycling for all citizens of the state. A question and answer session will follow based on time available.






 


Tony Carfang 


Tony is a Software Engineer on the B-52, having joined Boeing in 2015 after completing his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado. 
Tony has 12 years of bike racing experience, and is a board member of BikeOklahoma.


Larry Mitchell

 

Larry is a lifelong cyclist.  He has been active in bicycle  advocacy in the Tulsa area for 8 years.  Larry currently serves as vice-president of the Tulsa Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC)  and is a Tulsa This Machine Bike Share board member. 





Bill Nesper

- Executive Director - League of American Bicyclists

Bill first joined the League in 2002 and brings a depth of knowledge of all of the League's programs and work throughout the country. Bill started at the League as a membership assistant and since has directed the Smart Cycling and Bicycle Friendly America Programs before being appointed Executive Director. He holds a BA in History from the University of Florida and an MA from George Mason University.
