Bike Edmond (Road Bike Club located in Edmond, OK) Bike Edmond is a 501(c)(7) non-profit dedicated to promoting all aspects of cycling in Edmond.  Their members include racers, club riders, commuters, touring cyclists and folks who just like to have fun.

Bicycle League of Norman (Recreational & Competitive Road & MTB Bike Club) The BLN is composed of recreational and competitive cyclists, both road and mountain. Many of their members are successful road and mountain bike racers. The BLN attempts to meet the cycling needs and goals of all of its members. By being a BLN member, you will receive an invitation to club parties and events, but most importantly, you will become a member of a fun, friendly, caring group of cyclists who promote cycling in and around Norman, OK.

Bucks for Bikes (Salvation Army)(Fundraising to purchase bicycles) Every year the Salvation Army raising money to buy bicycles for needy children for Christmas.

 

eXFuze Racing(Women’s Cycling Team) The Exfuze Women’s Racing Team was formed in October 2009 to encourage interest and participation among women of Oklahoma in competitive and recreational cycling, and to promote safety, fitness and positive relations with the community.  It is the first and only women’s racing team in Oklahoma.

EZ Riders (Recreational Bike Club of South OKC) The EZ Riders of OKC support the recreational sport of cycling and promote the growth of the sport with emphasis on Safety and rider etiquette. They have a no drop policy, but they still encourage improving and testing your fitness level. The EZ Rider membership includes those interested in joining them for rides on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

 

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)(Training and Fundraising) The Ride to Cure Diabetes supports the JDRF – the worldwide leader for research to cure type 1 diabetes. JDRF provided $101 million to diabetes research in 2009 and is responsible for more than $1.4 billion in direct funding since it was founded.

Leukemia and Lymphoma Society – Team in Training(Training and Fundraising) The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training program is the world’s largest endurance sports training program. The program provides training to run or walk marathons and half marathons or participate in triathlons and century (100 mile) bike rides in honor of blood cancer patients and survivors. Participants receive training to achieve their goals and raise money for cancer research.

MS Society – MS 150(Fundraising and Bike Ride) The Oklahoma Chapter of the National MS Society hosts a variety of special events throughout the year. Funds raised during these events help support the programs and services for Oklahomans with MS. The Mother Road Ride is the MS 150 in Oklahoma and rides from Tulsa to Oklahoma City over 2 days.

Oklahoma Bicycle Society (Road  & Touring) The Oklahoma Bicycle Society is a non-profit club dedicated to the promotion of bicycling as a safe and enjoyable outdoor activity. They actively support local, state and national programs that benefit bicycling, such as: Oklahoma City Bikeways, Lake Hefner Trails, Oklahoma Bicycle Coalition, The Scenic Trails System, The League of American Bicyclists and the Rails to Trails Conservancy.

Their members come from all walks of life and all levels of cycling experience, and they stand ready to share their vast body of knowledge with their fellow riders. Within the ranks of the society membership, one can find expert advice on any subject from ride routes to equipment selection and from racing and touring to repair and maintenance.

The Oklahoma Bicycle Society sponsors a year-round program of weekly rides that range from slow-paced family outings to others that will test the abilities of the most experienced riders. Also, in order to help the members get to know each other, they sponsor a number of events that combine a short ride with a party or picnic.

Oklahoma City Velo Club (USCF Road Racing Club) The Oklahoma City Velo Club is a non-profit that promotes the sport of bicycle racing, promotes bicycle safety education and promotes or sponsors one or more bicycle racing teams and bicycle racing events.

No matter what experience level you’re at, OKC Velo welcomes anyone interested in bicycle road racing.  You can be a Cat 1 rider or simply someone who likes to volunteer and watch the local racing scene. Oklahoma Earthbike Fellowship “OEF” (Mountain Bike Club) The OEF is a statewide membership organization dedicated to the enhancement of the sport of off-road bicycling through trail advocacy, maintenance and cooperation with land managers and users. It is a club that grew out of the need for cool places to ride in Oklahoma. OEF has worked hard to secure riding areas in our state. Through their lobbying efforts, some state and city regulations concerning off-road bicycle use have changed. OEF is in part responsible for the rule changes that opened state lands and parks to off-road bicycle riding. They have received national recognition for all the  work they have done.

Team BikeBuddies (Cycling Team) Team BikeBuddies, an ongoing project of BikeBuddiesOKC.org, is a group of Oklahoma City area cyclists who enjoy riding together, provide training motivation, encourage safety and introduce new riders to cycling. Their goal is to train toward riding at least one century (100 mile ride) with a specific focus on the Oklahoma MS150 two-day ride in Tulsa in September benefiting the National MS Society and the Hotter’N Hell 100 in Wichita Falls in August.

 

Team Undiscovered (Cycling Team) Team Undiscovered is an Oklahoma based cycling team dedicated to promoting the sport of cycling. We pride ourselves on not only striving to be the best on the bike, but off the bike as well. Cycling is our lifestyle. We race because we love it. We ride because we think it’s the key to a better, healthier Oklahoma.

Tri OKC (Oklahoma City Triathlon Club) The Oklahoma City Triathlon Club includes athletes of all ability levels and they strive to make each person feel welcome and comfortable. Their goal is for each person to find their place and become an integral part of the tri-community. Membership is open to anyone interested in triathlons. TRI-OKC is a community where you can identify with other triathletes socially and for group training.

Yukon BMX RACEWAY(Racing) Yukon BMX Raceway is operated by the Yukon Parents and Riders Association. They are a non-profit and a 501(c)3 organization. The association is includes volunteer parents and riders.

Young Life(Training and Fundraising) The Young Life cycling team raising money to support Young Life ministries. Young Life leaders build relationship with teens, to show them how important they are and teach them to live their lives walking in God’s path.
